Fans of the sucessful Rainbow Six series certainly came out winners at this year's E3. Though little talked about before the show, the latest installment Rainbox Six: Siege walked away impressing a lot of the game publications out there.
Pee-wee's Playhouse Hitting Blu Ray In October!
Nor do they want you to forget that. The latest trailer of Siege is espousing the games E3 cred. In it, a small squad of SWAT members ambush a house and all hell breaks loose. In addition to ensuring you know what everyone thinks of it, the trailer also showcases the newest element into the long running Rainbow Six franchise: destructible environments. A heavily armed character blasts his way through a wall with repeated bursts of bullets before taking out an enemy on the other side.
The world needs more destructible environments in its games. The real world is, as we have learned time and again, very prone to destruction. Games are every so slowly catching up to the environmental damage an all out firefight would actually entail and it is exciting!

Rainbow Six: Siege is set for a 2015 release, which at least means you do not have to worry about it hogging up the shelf come October, when every single other game is coming out.
