The only thing more annoying than going to one actual physical store to get a pre-order bonus is having to go to five. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will soon be among us and since Warner refuses to let Batman go quietly into that good night, they're loading up retail stores with all sorts of exclusive pre-order goodies.

The pre-order extras are what you'd normally expect from a Lego set: mini-figures, keychains and even a comic book. Let's have a look, shall we?
Amazon: the easiest to get to because the only place it involves going is your couch or bed, or couchbed, will net you a Batgirl keychain. Not too shabby.

All of which are cute, fun additions, but will also be made available shortly thereafter for regular retails. Kids, the prime audience for these, will no doubt love them. But you are a parent, do you have time to run out to Target or GameStop to pick up these things? Is it worth the high cost of gas to transport not just yourself, but the actual figures? And what of the production costs associated with crafting Lego pieces in general?
