Gamers weren't happy when the Persona Arena Ultimax was region locked, but ATLUS has revealed that they have nothing to fear this time around.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Will Be 'Best Fighting Game' Of E3, Says ATLUS
Today they revealed that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, the sequel to the highly acclaimed fighting game, will be region-free for both North and South America.
It will hit PS3 and Xbox 360 later this Fall and may be imported at whim- Japanese and European gamers looking to save a few bucks are undoubtedly looking towards our shores with envious eyes.

You may want to get on this soon if you want goodies, however. While Japan will be getting one packed Collector's Edition, pre-orders and first-run editions of the American release will come with a Teddie bop bag and Set #1 of the iconic Persona Tarot cards. (Set #2 will be included with the upcoming Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.) Getting it on launch day will also give you free DLC, as Adachi finally becomes a playable characterr. He will only be free during launch week before reverting to paid content, so it's only for early adopters.
