Everyone's favorite shuffling husks and anthropomorphic fauna are heading south of the border with the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare Tactical Taco Party Pack. Xbox's Major Nelson has brought us a little preview of the expansion, which will be released for Xbox One and Xbox 360 tomorrow, July 1.
Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare Now Available On The PC
The big addition to the robust Plants Vs Zombies game is the new Jewel Junction map, which adds an environmental effect that players can use to their advantage: a train running through the middle of the map. Time it well and you may just see big rewards.
The update also introduces a new game called Vanquished Confirmed. In it, players only receive points for a kill if they collect the enemy player's 'crazy orb'. No longer will you be able to sit back and snipe your way to victory, you're going to have to weigh the risks versus the rewards in exposing yourself to bring your team the win. The expansion will also include "eight new waves and one new challenge in Garden Ops to add some variety to the mix."
Destiny Could Be The Biggest Game Of The Year
Additionally, the pack is introducing new custom variants for two of the characters from Sponser Aquafina:
Berry Shooter: This blue, berry-boosted beauty, deals extra splash damage with a slower rate of fire - perfect for vanquishing that elusive, overly ambitious opponent.
Citrus Cactus: Slinging orange wedges with a 3-round burst, this prickly fellow vanquishes his foes with precision shooting and perfectly timed one-liners.
The expansion is free to download tomorrow. Check out Major Nelson's first hand look below!
