The video, currently viewable on the Xbox One dashboard, states at its end that the beta begins in "late July" on Xbox platforms. The PlayStation versions, which come with limited-time exclusive content, will be getting the beta on July 17. VideoGamer originally spotted the news in the trailer.
This means Sony console owners will be getting the beta about one to two weeks ahead of Xbox players, depending on when exactly "late July" is. The beta is accessible for any system only by pre-ordering Destiny, which releases fully on September 9. There will also be a Destiny bundle with the new white PS4.

Recent statistics from the alpha showed a huge level of participation, with over 6 million games played and plenty of kills being racked up. More information about the beta should be forthcoming as July approaches.
