Guardians of the Galaxy is exciting Marvel fans everywhere for taking a more obscure group of heroes and mixing what looks to be intense action with a good amount of humor.

The latest trailer is no different, though it focuses more on the story than what we've seen before. The previous teasers have shown clips of action and humorous moments, but the new UK trailer gives those along with a more comprehensive view of the narrative and the role our group of misfits will play.
It also starts with a short dive into our protagonist's origins, which is more serious than much of what we've seen before so far. It's more dramatic, but quickly moves on to the grander-scale aspects of the film. Our main man Peter "Starlord" Quill (Chris Pratt) is joined by Gamora the assassin, sentient tree Groot, mercenary anthropomorphic raccoon Rocket, and vengeful fighting machine Drax.

The ragtag band finds itself as the galaxy's only hope against an ominous threat, of course, and it looks set to be the kind of fun, action packed movie perfect for summer. Marvel makes great trailers, so hopefully the actual film lives up to the hype. Guardians of the Galaxy is set for theaters on August 1, which unfortunately mean we still have a while to go.
