The two top-tier games are in the early stages of a battle for the attention of the gaming world, and their large presences within the confines of the extra large venue are indirectly making that ultra apparent.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Preorder Details Here!

Battlefield: Hardline will get a headstart in the race to the virtual finish line, as it's slated to become available on Oct. 21. However, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare won't be too far behind , scheduled to hit stores on Nov. 4.

In terms of the specs of the two war games, both have pushed the envelope once again. Hardline will be breaking away from its traditional format of gameplay. The EA game will give players the option participate in either Hotwire, Rescue, Heist, or Bloodmoney modes.

However, Advanced Warfare won't be too shabby either, as it will present video game enthusiasts with a slew of brand new animation, rendering and physics, among its other upgrades.

On Monday, Microsoft showcased a sequence of Hardline footage at E3, revealing some a few unlucky soldiers at the receiving end of some extremely realistic looking drone attacks.

The superb graphics of the Electronic Arts game clearly didn't disappoint. Hence, its brand new trailer gave fans an in-depth look at the virtual carnage they could partake in. EA informed the masses that it would be green lighting an online beta test.

Executive producer Steve Papoutsis stated that the beta test would be accessible on a "first-come, first-served basis," according to WPTV.

In lieu of its future launch, Papoutsis was adamant in saying that Hardline has more than its fair share of technological legwork left to iron out any kinks.

"We've got a lot of work left to do, so your feedback at this early stage is huge as we build toward our release on Oct. 21," he added.

On Tuesday morning, Sledgehammer Games gave fans a sneak peek at one of the multiplayer loadouts that'll solely be for gamers that pre order Advanced Warfare.

Interesting to note, the upcoming game will also have an exo-suit called the "Bullet Brass Expo" that will give gamers a special-edition M1 Quantum, as it will allows them to have an endless supply of ammo. Nonetheless, the perk comes at a cost, as fans must be able to stay on top of the newbie gun's battery power and not let it overheat.
