A new trailer for NBA 2K15 has been released, combining some gameplay footage with Kevin Durant's Most Valuable Player acceptance speech from earlier this year.

The "Most Valuable Players" trailer, below, puts the player in Durant's shoes, intermittently showing a regular person giving Durants speech between clips of the game. It's pretty neat, if a little cheesy, and it should be noted that the gameplay footage is from NBA 2K14, not the upcoming title.
Kevin Durant was recently revealed as the game's cover athlete, something he apparently wanted very badly according to 2K's Community Manager, who posted on the PlayStation blog. The players who appear in the trailer are some popular YouTubers who often post videos of the NBA 2K games, so this was the developer's way of rewarding some loyal fans.

NBA 2K14 was released on both last and current generation platforms, with 2K15 set to do the same. This may mean the graphics will be held back somewhat for the older hardware, though the previous release was still one of the best-looking PS4 and Xbox One titles at launch.
It's possible the last gen and current gen versions are being handled by different teams, with one group creating the PS4 and Xbox One version from the ground up. It would require a lot of resources, but Sony did something similar for MLB 14: The Show on PS4, recreating the stadiums and other details from scratch.
NBA 2K 15 will launch on October 7, and you can pre-order it now to receive a KD MVP Bonus Pack, though strangely only the PlayStation versions are offered right now (likely to do with the initial announcement being on the PS blog, and the Xbox versions will follow). The bonus pack includes the following:
- 5,000 Virtual Currency
- Kevin Durant Throwback MyTEAM Card
- Two MyTEAM Card Packs
- MyPLAYER Leg Sleeves, Inspired By Kevin Durant
