The Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS details will keep coming from Nintendo ahead of the staggered release of both versions, and today is no exception. The title will be out this summer on 3DS and most likely this winter on Wii U, though it seems like we'll have to wait until this month's E3 conference for a specific date.
Check Out The Recap Of The Latest Super Smash Bros. Reveals
Aside from the recent reveal of Ike the last major character details came from a Nintendo Direct video, and it's unlikely we'll see anything that significant again before E3.
What we will keep getting are daily updates from Nintendo via the game's official site, which usually consist of a new picture accompanied by a description.
Take A Look At The Recently Revealed Mushroom Kingdom U Stage
Today's post is a fairly major one, with series director Masahiro Sakurai showing off a brand new stage. Ike and Marth star in its reveal--you can see it in the background behind the two characters in the image above. That picture is not much of a look at the stage, but fortunately Sakurai added an additional image in the comments with a fuller view. Here's the fuller picture, with his description:
"We've added a familiar setting from the Fire Emblem series, the Coliseum. In the original game, this place is filled with both hope and despair. There is machinery in the ground that activates variable platforms."
Keep checking back for more Smash Bros. news ahead of E3, which will hopefully include an early specific release date announcement.
