Call of Duty: Advance Warfare is still a relatively hot new item, but there's a lot more we don't know about it then what we do. But you can chalk one more up in the former category, because going by some new information on the Sony Store, there's a nice benefit for those who pre-order the game via the PlayStation Network.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Facial Tech Detailed
Pre-orders for Advanced Warfare are now being accepted on PSN for PlayStation 3 and 4. While benefits typically seem to favor the next generation (or current, I guess it depends on how you look at it), it's PS3 owners that are getting the best out of this deal. PS3 pre-orders come with a pre-load option, so as soon as the game releases this November, you'll be able to play it bright and early, 12:00 AM (PST, mind you). No waiting in lines, no crazy hassle at a midnight release party. Just you, your PS3, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Don't believe me? Here are the respective links to the Sony Store: PS3 and PS4. I'd be amazed if this was a PS3 exclusive, so expect the same offer to be made for PS4, not to mention Microsoft's platforms as well.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's First Weapons Revealed
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to launch worldwide on November 4 for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game takes place in 2054, and sees PMC Atlas CEO Jonathan Irons (voiced by Kevin Spacey), waging a war against the United States government, using his company's employees / guns for hire as his own personal army. Check out the announcement trailer below for a peek at some of the game's futuristic gadgets, including exo suits, light bending helicopters, and gloves that put Spiderman's wall crawling abilities to shame.
