Call of Duty: Ghosts' Third DLC, Invasion, Out Now as Timed Exclusive for Xbox Platforms
If you were counting, you'd have noticed there's only nine achievements on that list, not ten. That's because it didn't really belong there with the others. The tenth achievement for Invasion, "Egg-stra Awakening!," comes when players find four eggs hidden away on the game's new multiplayer maps. Yep, the hunt goes on.
If you're new to the game, an egg is considered "found" once players pop a cap in it. Once all four are shot full of holes, players are then left with scanning the obelisk in the Awakening episode, and a nice 2,000 XP reward is all theirs, as well as 10,000 XP for Extinction. Here are the locations of all the eggs:
* Mutiny: Board the pirate ship in the very middle of the map, and whilst prone, peer through the cargo bay.
* Favela: In the southeast corner of this Brazillian shantytown is a crumbling graveyard. Head there, and then look out to the gate. Just on the left, you'll see the egg hanging from a small cliff.
* Departed: Where the Ghosts spawn hides a breachable wall, amrked by a red vase with a zig zag pattern. Blow it to smithereens, and you'll find the egg.
* Pharoah: Save the most difficult one for last. In the tomb room at the northeast, equip your sniper rifle and peer beyond the map boundaries and off to the right. The smoke makes it difficult to see, but an egg hides off in the distance.
Remember, each egg must be shot in a public match in order to be considered "found." No easy hunting in private matches. Check out the DLC's official trailer below.
