Relic Entertainment has released two new trailers for the latest entry in their WWII shooter franchise, Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies. The game is the first standalone multiplayer release for Company of Heroes 2 and it shifts the focus back to the Western Front, depicting some of the most brutal fighting of World War II in the darkest days of the conflict.
Enemy Front Trailer Takes You Deep Behind Enemy Lines
The trailers make no pretense about what it is: the first tosses you into the middle of a forest skirmish that seems like something ripped right out of Band of Brothers. It's intense, chaotic and strangely compelling. In addition to the fast action and freneticism, The Western Front Armies also allows you to "wield the power of Eisenhowser's mighty U.S. forces" with new technology and abilities. The game comes with 8 brand new maps, in addition to the existing 23 Relic maps, and the over 1000 player created maps you can find on Steam. So you will never be able to say 'I've played them all'.
"The Western Front Armies also includes a new progression system that introduces other unique content into the game and enables players to dive deeper into the tactical and strategic aspects of the game than ever before." according to the game's press release.

Company of Heroes 2 is the popular and critically acclaimed real time strategy game that puts you in command of the Soviet Army during the early years of the war. You, as the general, command the troop movement, resource gathering and combat tactics of squads of soldiers as you try to stop the German invasion.
