EA Sports recently announced a new addition to FIFA 14's Ultimate Team, planning to add a World Cup section to the popular mode at the end of the month. There are new international World Cup versions of every player card, and the developers are counting down the highest-rated leading up to the update's release.

Today the team has listed the top players ranked 20 to 11, saving the top 10 for tomorrow. The rankings go strictly by the player card's overall rating number, not a subjective list of the best players.
Technically, opinion went into assigning the ratings in the first place I suppose (and when putting one player ahead of another in this list when their overall rating is the same), but generally speaking it's just a ranked list of the scores.

The ratings from number 20 onwards start at 86 overall and move up to just 87 at the 11th spot, meaning it's a tightly packed field. Any of these cards would do your squad a world of good, and any FUT player should be happy to see any of these names in the World Cup mode-exclusive international packs. Here's the list of players from rank 20 to 11, with their overall rating and the nation they represent:
20. Vincent Kompany: 86, Belgium
19. Yaya Toure: 86, Ivory Coast
18. Iker Casillas: 86, Spain
