Chicago has nearly three million people, and in the fictionalized version of it in Watch Dogs it turns out that you can't trust any of them. This new trailer shows off some of the shadier characters in the game, who seem just as likely to help you out as they do stab you in the back.
Waiting for a Watch Dogs demo? Don't hold your breath.
Sony has revealed this video, which shows off the graphics of the PS4 version and how well it renders these criminals. From Sony's blog-
"Take someone like Jordi: you wouldn't call him a friend, but rather a business associate. Everything can change with the touch of a smart phone, keystroke, or pull of a trigger - it's volatile, to say the least. It remains to be seen how Aiden interacts with these individuals, but they're all unique and complex characters that help add color and intrigue to the game's story."
Watch Dogs' DedSec Hacker Group Was Inspired By Anonymous
Well, they don't seem too complex from the trailer, but we shall see. The hackers in the game were apparently influenced by Anonymous, the real-life hacking organization, although I don't know how many of those folks are walking around carrying guns and cool outfits in multiracial outfits. It's much more similar to Grand Theft Auto in that way, which of course is a major influence on the game. If they can get the hacking to work as awesome as it seems- allowing you to hack into anyone's cell phone or any of the city's infrastructure on a whim- then we'll certainly have something special on our hands.
Watch Dogs hits May 27. Get ready to hack the planet... or at least, Chicago.
