'Bound by Flame' Launch TRAILER News: Demon Element Of RPG Game For PS4 To Be A Spin On A Morality System? [VIDEO]

"Bound by Flame' Launch Trailer Shows the Worst Case of Split Personality Disorder, Ever.

Spider Studio's RPG Bound by Flame is all set to release at the end of the week for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 and 4, and to get everyone ready, the developer has released the game's launch trailer.

Even if they're not looking forward to the game itself, fans of both Assassin's Creed IV's Freedom Cry DLC and Remember Me should notice similarities between those games and the music in the launch trailer, as all feature the audio stylings of Olivier Derivière. Explained a press release, the trailer "highlights one of the important elements in the game, the background story and the gameplay: the relationship between the hero and the flame demon that possesses him. The choices and decisions you make in the game will determine if you allow your demonic side to predominate and gradually transform you physically in exchange for his powerful fire magic, or if you resist the demon's control and retain your humanity to develop your heroic skills."

The demon element is Spider Studio's spin on a morality system. Not unlike the inFamous series, the human/demon duality impacts not only your approach to tactical combat, but also on the reaction of the people around you, most notably your relationship with companions.
