'Killer is Dead' PC Release Date Pushed, Specs Provided

Here's What You'll Need to Play Killer is Dead on PC

It's a good news-bad news situation for developer Grasshopper Manufacture. First, the bad news. The Nightmare Edition of Killer is Dead was originally due on PC at the end of this week, but now it seems as though that won't be happening until later this month.

The game's Steam page now has a release date of May 23. But the good news? That means that players have some extra time to upgrade their rig, and they'll know exactly what they need to run the game, because alongside the new release date, both the minimum and recommended PC specs have also been provided. You can check 'em out below:

Considered the spiritual successor to Suda's previous games, Killer 7 and No More Heroes, Killer is Dead released in August of last year to unfortunately mixed reviews. Something of a hack 'n slasher, Killer is Dead's protagonist Mondo sports a conventional sword in one hand, and a whole barrage of weaponry in the other, courtesy of a cybernetic left arm that converts into a gun, drill, and more.

In addition to the bevy of blood-letting armaments, gamers who grab the PC version of the game will also find themselves with a theatre mode, higher difficulty setting, and the "Smooth Operator Pack," which includes DLC like X-ray glasses, outfits, and a new mission and boss.
