The first screenshots for the next episode of Season 2 of The Walking Dead have been revealed and the release is apparently approaching. The release date for Episode 3 - In Harm's Way on all platforms will be announced "soon" according to a press release.
The announcement included the first screenshots of the episode, giving us 3 new images to pore over. They look particularly sharp, and depict the characters in what look like some difficult situations--Clementine in the midst of a zombie hoard is not exactly a good sign.
If I had to bet, I'd say this press release promising a date is forthcoming means we will hear about an official release date next week, but I can't really say what Telltale means by "soon". Episode 2 released back in March, so it hasn't been too long yet, but several months in between episodes has roughly been the standard wait time.
Episode 1 of Season 2 released in December, making it three months between the first two episodes. If the same length of time is kept between episodes, In Harm's Way is due out some time in June. It's likely the release date would be a few weeks after any potential announcement, so June would line up well with the release windows Telltale has used before.
For now, all we have to go on for sure is these new screenshots, so enjoy. The Walking Dead is available on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and iOS.
