I just... I can't even contain my excitement for Godzilla anymore. It's going to be so freaking awesome. I have no doubts.
So you can imagine how excited I was when the new Asia trailer for Godzilla was debuted today, and it gave us our best look yet at the other kaiju monsters that Godzilla will be facing off against.
We got another brief look at the praying mantis-like monster, who apparently has red magma blood or something. It appears that he's been kept under wraps by the government and escapes.
We got a really good look at the flying dinosaur monster, and he looks gnarly. Like a smaller, flying Godzilla, basically.
And then of course we got a good look at the big guy himself, as he rips some stuff apart and roars all over. We once again get confirmation that Godzilla will be playing the antihero role, as the characters discussing how to deal with the monster threat come to terms with the fact that they're going to need to leave it to natural selection.
Another thing I noticed while watching this trailer... this fight is going to be taking place all over the world. The trailer shows no less than Hawaii, Japan, New York and San Francisco.
