Capcom just announced that it would be holding two game showcases next week, with one focusing on "Monster Hunter Wilds" with a stream afterward.
The other showcase seems like it would be focusing on other titles that are coming from the publisher, such as "Onimusha Way of the Sword." The schedule for the games showcase is 10:00 p.m. GMT start time on Feb. 4, 2025.
Capcom's Games Showcase
The first one is Capcom's Spotlight showcase, which will last about 20 minutes and will feature three titles. These games are "Onimusha Way of the Sword," "Capcom Fighting Collection 2," and "Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics."
The first of these was originally announced in December 2024 and is slated to arrive sometime next year. The latest entry in the franchise comes roughly two decades following the last game in the series, "Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams."

On the other hand, there is not much information regarding "Capcom Fighting Collection 2" other than a release window of 2025. The last one could also get an official release date for Xbox platforms, according to Eurogamer.
Following the near half-hour Spotlight, Capcom will spend about 20 minutes giving fans an update on "Monster Hunter Wilds." The showcase is set to be held only a few weeks away from the game's official Feb. 28, 2025, release.
Potential New Information
A lot of fans are expecting to see various monster reveals during next week's event and even a new area that they can hunt in. So far, Capcom has not yet revealed where eager watchers will be able to stream the showcase, but it is expected that YouTube will be one of them.
Additionally, fans are looking forward to getting more information on other titles that the publisher is working on. These include things like "Resident Evil 9," although many people believe it is still too early for this one to be included in a showcase, Games Hub.
On top of potentially new monster and area reveals, the "Monster Hunter Wilds" stream could also reveal more about the game's story. Furthermore, fans can expect to get more information regarding the second open beta test period for the latest entry in the franchise.
Capcom's upcoming showcase comes as the publisher previously said that it was working on "re-activating" more dormant legacy intellectual properties from its deep library. The company is supposedly aiming to make new titles based on these classic games that a lot of people enjoy, according to the Video Games Chronicle.
