Developer Vawraek Technology opened early access for upcoming MMO "The Quinfall" but has struggled with negative reviews over server issues and other problems.

The situation comes as the launch of any new MMORPG, however exciting, is also filled with anxiety and worries over potential issues. On top of this, most new titles and unknown games have to compete with high-profile games, such as "Final Fantasy XIV" and "World of Warcraft."

The Quinfall Early Access

Despite this, "The Quinfall" is trying to carve out a name for itself ahead of its official launch with an early access period that opened on Jan. 24, 2025. It allowed players to dive into a medieval fantasy world where they can explore to their hearts' content.

The game promises to have good content for PvE and PvP enthusiasts with dozens of unique professions that offer varying playstyles. Additionally, "The Quinfall" claims to have a driving central story. However, it has suffered from server issues and optimization problems, according to PCGamesN.

Vawraek Technology has already conducted three beta tests for "The Quinfall," which were followed by the game's early access release. The developer has crafted a massive world that it calls the "world's largest MMORPG map."

The region boasts 2016 square kilometers across five different biomes and features changing seasons as well as a day and night cycle. In "The Quinfall," players will experience a world that has plunged into civil war and will have to make choices that will impact the story.

Server Issues and Optimization Concerns

Ahead of the launch of the game's early access, the developer's announcement noted that they have not yet presented all of the changes that they envisioned for "The Quinfall." It added that it believes that during the early access period, they will be able to rewrite the Sandbox MMORPG experience together with players, MassivelyOP said.

The studio said that the support players provide throughout the early access period will be crucial in the continuous development of "The Quinfall." This would help Vawraek Technology shape the game according to the plans and feedback from everyone involved.

In "The Quinfall," players will be able to explore a massive MMORPG world where each biome has its own unique, distinct climate. When it comes to fighting, the game's combat system features non-target dynamics as well as a PvP-PvE experience that is based on sleight of hand.

Additionally, it allows players to experience all battles with a greater sense of spectacle and depth. The game features immersive medieval combat as well as thrilling ship battles, island skirmishes, and castle sieges, according to Steam.
