Completing Quests

One of the most simple ways of getting gold in "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" is by completing quests, including side quests. Doing all of the missions that you can access will give you a hefty amount of gold, especially in the early game, according to Game Rant.

You can identify side quests by the yellow exclamation marks on the map, which can be attached to any of Rook's companions. This is of particular importance for players who wish to romance in their playthroughs.

Sell Items to Merchants

Throughout your journey in the world of "Dragon Age: The Veilguard," you will come across a variety of items that you do not need. You can sell these stuff to vendors that are willing to accept them for some extra gold.

Note that doing this will impact your relationship with one of the many factions based on which one the vendor you are selling to is aligned with. Valuable items are in the game solely to be sold to vendors, so don't shy away from parting with them, Screen Rant said.

There is currently an exploit in "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" that has not yet been patched, but it lets players farm an unlimited amount of gold or as much as their patience lets them. This method relies on the fact that smashing overworld objects has a chance of giving you gold and materials.

One player found out that there are some areas that have a ton of smashable objects close to each other that can be farmed relatively easily. As shared on Reddit, user Inevitable_Bat7980 pointed other players to Dock Town.

They shared a map highlighting a particular area in the region that is filled with various containers that players can destroy. You just have to break all of them, save your save, load it up, and rinse and repeat the process, according to The Gamer.

You can repeat this for as many times as you want to get as much gold and as many materials as you need or want or until your patience grows thin. So far, developer BioWare has not yet patched this method out so players can still take advantage of it.
