When you start out in "Harvestella," you only have a small farm to work with, and what makes things worse is that some of the space you should be using is covered by large rocks.

If you want to progress even further in "Final Fantasy" developer Square Enix's own version of a farming life simulator game, you need to learn how to break these massive boulders. Doing so will allow you to free up some space and use more soil to grow crops.

There are some requirements that you need to reach in order to gain the ability to destroy these large rocks scattered around your farm. This guide helps players learn everything they need to know to make the most of their starting area in "Harvestella."

How To Destroy Large Rocks

If you want to break the large rocks found in your farm, you will need to unlock the Great Earth Faerie's requests and then learn "Destroy Skill: Charge Lv 1." This particular skill will upgrade your hammer to let you break even the big rocks taking up space on your soil, according to IGN.

To get this skill, you have to complete six of the Great Earth Faerie's requests, which you can start on after completing Chapter 3C and getting to the Holy Capital Argene in the West. To get to this area, you need to go south and go through the Jade Forest.

If you continue to go west past Shatolla, you can find the Silent Cave dungeon, and you will find Holy Capital Argene on the other side.

The Great Earth Faerie

After getting access to the Great Earth Faerie, you can complete her tasks, which mainly involve growing winter crops. Fortunately, you are still able to get the hammer skill upgrade you need even if the season is not winter, Polygon said.

Another thing you should know is that tasks for the Great Earth Faerie will be completed retroactively. This means that you may have already completed some of her missions before even getting to her.

Some of the tasks for this NPC include crafting a variety of different items and building rapport several times.

Other Things To Know

During your journey to unlock the Great Earth Faerie and get the Destroy Skill: Charge Level 1, you will face a maze-like, icy dungeon. This area will most likely require you to spend a few in-game days to finish.

What makes this area even harder is that there is a challenging boss fight waiting for you at the end before you can proceed. It is recommended that a lot of food be brought to restore HP and stamina.

Additionally, you should note that there are elemental weaknesses you can take advantage of in "Harvestella." This means that using attacks that match your enemies' weaknesses will let you defeat them faster, according to Screen Rant.
