Amazon Prime Gaming is giving away 16 games this January 2025 for free, including "BioShock 2 Remastered" and "Blood West."
The company announced more than a dozen free games this month on Thursday and features some classic titles that many fans love. Out of the 16 games that will be available this month, five were made available on Jan. 9, 2025, and the others will be released throughout January 2025.
Amazon Prime Gaming Giveaway
After players claim the games, they will be playable and owned forever, but they will have to be an Amazon Prime member first. The titles come via a variety of platforms, such as GOG, the Amazon Games App, and the Epic Games Store.
The games that are included in this month's giveaway range from different genres and include "Eastern Exorcist," "The Bridge," and SkyDrift Infinity," all of which are on the Epic Games Store. The most notable title among the first five that were released is "BioShock 2 Remastered" on GOG, according to Insider Gaming.

Lastly, for the first wave of free games, there is "Spirit Mancer," which is available via the Amazon Games App. The next batch of games is scheduled to drop on Jan. 16, 2025, and will include "GRIP" and "SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech" on GOG and "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" via the Epic Games Store.
For the third wave on Jan. 23, 2025, players will get "Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition" via GOG, "To The Rescue!," "Star Stuff," and "Zombie Army 4: Dead War" on the Epic Games Store. Lastly, there is "Spitlings" on the Amazon Games App.
Amazing and Immersive Titles
The last batch will arrive on Jan. 30, 2025, and include "ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights" and "Super Meat Boy Forever" on the Epic Games Store. "Blood West" also becomes available for free via GOG, the Prime Gaming blog said.
While there are plenty of games coming to Amazon Prime Gaming members this month, there are also others that will be leaving the subscription service soon. These include "Jurassic World: Evolution," going away on Feb. 25, 2025.
Another notable title that will be leaving is "The Outer Worlds," which is an excellent space-faring RPG. The game will part ways with the service on Mar. 5, so players should try it out before that time comes.
"Death's Door" is an isometric action game that features adorable visuals and intense combat action. In this game, players will explore the underworld as a crow as they try to find a soul thief. The game will be leaving on Jan. 29, 2025, according to Polygon.
