Developer KUNOS Simulazioni and publisher 505 Games revealed content that fans can expect to see in the early access version of "Assetto Corsa EVO" when it launches on Jan. 16, 2025.

The studios revealed that the release would include 20 different cars, five tracks, a practice game, and quick race game modes for single-player. It will also come with VR support, triple-screen support, a car showroom, and car customization features.

Assetto Corsa EVO's Early Access

The launch being an early access version of "Assetto Corsa EVO" on PC means that the developer plans to slowly add new features and improve existing ones. They will factor in the community's feedback on the game and what it offers.

Even with such an early build for the game, it seems like the developer is planning to introduce a tremendous amount of content for players to enjoy right at the beginning. While the studio said 20 cars would be immediately available, they did not specify their models at once, according to Top Gear.

KUNOS Simulazioni is drip-feeding the names of the vehicles that are going to be drivable in the early access. There have only been four that have been revealed so far: the Toyota GR86, Ferrari 296 GTB, BMW M2 CS Racing, and Abarth 695 Biposto.

Many fans find that the last one is like a continuation of a fine tradition for the franchise, as a lot of people spent many hours in the original "Assetto Corsa" using the Abarth. The tracks included in the upcoming release are Brands Hatch, Imola, Laguna Seca, Mount Panorama, and Suzuka.

What We Know So Far

The 20 cars that are part of the early access build pale in comparison with the 100 that are planned to be released in total when the game launches in its full 1.0 version later this year. Four more cars were also revealed for the upcoming launch, Traxion said.

These are: the Volkswagen Golf 6 GTI Clubsport, Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, Mazda MX5 ND Cup, and Ford Escort RS Cosworth. These came as no surprise as the developer teased them in some form or another over the last several weeks.

Every single track in the early access build of "Assetto Corsa EVO" will feature animated crowds, marshals, and "race elements" that improve the players' immersion. They will also have the previously mentioned dynamic surfaces and gravity-based water simulations.

There is also the "Driving Academy" mode that looks similar to the Circuit Experiences found in the "Gran Turismo" franchise. Every single course will be divided into several sections that players can take on one at a time, according to GTPlanet.
