'Marvel Rivals' Season 1 Leak Shows Planned Buffs, Nerfs, Map Changes, and More

A new leak for Season 1 of NetEase Games' popular 6v6 hero shooter "Marvel Rivals" shows the planned buffs, nerfs, map changes, and more coming to the game soon.

The latest information comes as there is still no official release date for when the game's Season 1 update will drop, but we do know that it is coming next week. The previews for it are set to start tomorrow with the release of the first official trailer.

Marvel Rivals Leak

The leaks show off what NetEase Games plans to preview for "Marvel Rivals" Season 1, including general information about the first season. The information comes from reliable leaker XoXLEAK, which shows buffs and nerfs to various heroes in the game.

So far, what we know includes buffs for Cloak and Dagger, Captain America, Storm, Wolverine, and Venom. On the other hand, nerfs are supposedly being handed out to Hawkeye and Hela, according to Forbes.

There are no specific details beyond these that show what else NetEase Games plans to change up within the game's meta. It was also noted that two heroes will arrive at the launch of Season 1, and two others will come mid-season.

No information was shared regarding which two are paired with the heroes in the Fantastic Four, which include Mr. Fantastic, The Thing, The Invisible Woman, and Human Torch. Fans believe that The Thing will be a Vanguard, Human Torch a Duelist, and The Invisible Woman a Strategist.

The leaks also suggest that the game could usher in an Age of Apocalypse, as the villain holds a strong connection to the Mutant nations of Arakko and Krakoa. These two living regions could be added to "Marvel Rivals" as there have been leaks of other Mutants before, including Jean Grey and Emma Frost.
