Superhero fans have a lot of options to choose from in NetEase Games' "Marvel Rivals," which features iconic characters from the Marvel universe.
The hero shooter also has different categories of heroes that determine the role a particular character was designed for, such as Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist. One of the more popular Strategists in the game is Loki, the Trickster God.
Loki is a strategist hero who focuses on support his team through his abilities. He is able to heal allies to keep them alive and confuse enemies to disrupt their team.
Loki's Abilities
This particular "Marvel Rivals" character's primary attack is Mystical Missile. This deals damage to enemies and can heal allies. Loki's first active ability is Regeneration Domain, which places a magical field on the ground that heals allies over time and also converts incoming damage to healing.
Next up is Doppelganger, which is Loki's escape skill as he projects an illusion that can also use some of the hero's abilities by themselves. The Backstab passive will have Loki deal greater damage when using his melee attack on an enemy from behind, according to Game Rant.

Loki's next ability is known as Devious Exchange, which lets the hero swap positions with a Doppelganger out on the field. Lastly is Deception, which makes Loki invisible while also leaving an Illusion behind to confuse enemy heroes.
This character's Team-Up passive is known as Laufeyson Reborn, and it can be done alongside Hela. The latter can revive Loki or choose to give him bonus health when defeating an enemy.
Loki's Ultimate Ability
This character's Ultimate ability is known as God of Mischief, which lets him transform into the form of a chosen ally or enemy hero. He will then gain all of their abilities, except for Team-Ups, and their Ultimate is already fully charged, The Gamer said.
This is particularly useful if the enemy team has a powerful Ultimate that you can take advantage of, especially if they are not expecting which hero you will turn into.
Tips and Strategies
If you choose to play as Loki in "Marvel Rivals," you have to keep in mind that positioning your Illusions is very important. Having them spread out is useful if you want to swap positions using Devious Exchange.
Additionally, Regeneration Domain can nullify much of the damage that enemy heroes deal, particularly Wolverine or Iron Fist, who are arguably some of the best duelists available, according to Screen Rant.
You should also be wary of Moon Knight, who is considered a powerful counter against Loki because of his primary attack bouncing between enemies. This means that your Illusions will not be as useful in confusing enemies.
