Fans of superheroes and supervillains can pit their favorite characters against each other in NetEase Games' "Marvel Rivals" and include the wild symbiote Venom.
The 6v6 hero shooter captures the essence of this particular Spider-Man villain by making him a Vanguard, which is a "Marvel Rivals" form of a tank character. This is due to Venom's capabilities, which let him soak up damage and powerful attacks that threaten enemy heroes.
This guide teaches players how they can master Venom's abilities, ultimate, and playstyle to dominate the battlefield. If you are a fan of this black, gooey character, then this article will help you use him to devour your enemies.
Venom's Abilities
Venom is arguably one of the easier Vanguards to play in "Marvel Rivals" due to his relatively straightforward abilities and playstyle. His primary attack is called Dark Predation, where he uses tentacles to strike enemies from a distance.
This character's passive ability is Alien Biology, which lets him crawl on the wall and sprint on it at the same time, according to The Gamer.
Venom's first active ability is Venom Swing, which lets the character swing across the map in a particular direction of the player's choosing. This ability has a cooldown to prevent it from being used successively to traverse quickly.
Arguably the best ability in Venom's kit is Symbiotic Resilience, which generates bonus health for the character whenever he takes damage. The amount will depend on how low Venom's health is at the time that he takes damage.
The next ability is Frenzied Arrival, where Venom lunges at enemies from a height to deal damage and lift them up for a brief period. On the other hand, Cellular Corrosion lets Venom grab enemies using his tentacles that can be broken to get away.
Venom's Team-Up ability is known as Touch of Klyntar, which is done alongside Spider-Man and Peni Parker. This lets the character access his Symbiote abilities and lets him project Venom spikes to deal damage.

Venom's Ultimate
As for Venom's ultimate ability, Feast of the Abyss, he will dive into the ground and shoot back out to deal damage to enemy heroes in the area. The damage that this ability does to enemy heroes is based on the amount of health they have at the time, and give it to Venom as bonus health, Game Rant said.
While Venom is classified as a Vanguard character in "Marvel Rivals," he is very agile and can move from area to area using his Venom Swing ability. This character also has high damage potential that threatens enemy heroes that have low health.
Venom's Playstyle
Whenever you are using Venom as your team's Vanguard character, you should be aggressive and get up in your enemies' faces. You can disrupt their formation by targeting their Duelists and Strategists.
Due to how Venom gets bonus health for attacking enemies, continuously getting into fights gives you more survivability than you otherwise would have if you were just standing around.
All of these factors make Venom a very easy-to-learn character in "Marvel Rivals" but hard to master completely. You should take some time to learn when to engage in fights and when to retreat, according to Screen Rant.
