Action RPG "Last Epoch" offers players the chance to fight a variety of creatures and bosses that will test their abilities in combat, including the mighty Lagon of the sea.
Out of all of the bosses in the game, Lagon is arguably the first overly difficult boss that players can encounter. This particular enemy is found in Chapter 7, The Might Of The Gods, and requires a good understanding of the game's mechanics and features.
Lagon is part of the main storyline of "Last Epoch," and you will be able to fight him in Lagon's Arena, the Seafloor Colosseum. This particular boss fight has three phases that each focus on a particular mechanic you need to keep an eye out for.
This guide helps players learn everything they need to know about Lagon and how to prepare for the fight. Keep these tips and tricks in mind before and during the battle with the boss to increase your chances of victory.
Phase One
During the first phase, players will not be able to directly damage Lagon whatsoever. Instead, they need to fight against his tentacles, which will spawn to the left and right. The boss has several attacks you should look out for during this phase, according to The Gamer.
These include a laser attack that will sweep across the arena, and there are two safe spots you can use to dodge, the leftmost and rightmost parts by the rocks. Another attack is the claw slam and claw gran that will stun your character if they hit. You know these attacks are coming because Lagon will raise his arms up to the sides.

Phase Two
In the second part of the Lagon boss fight, the enemy will teleport players to a larger arena where they will be faced with a horde of enemies. There will also be waves that you need to dodge because they deal massive damage.
During this phase, you only have to survive long enough until they are teleported again to the top platform of the arena. If you are feeling confident enough, you can also try to damage the tentacles during this stage of the fight, Dot Esports said.
PhaseThree
In the final stage of the boss fight, you will face mechanics similar to the first phase, which only changes the frequency of Lagon's attacks. If you were able to deal with the first part just fine, then this will not be much different.
Rewards From Lagon
Successfully defeating Lagon gives you a chance to obtain very powerful and unique items in "Last Epoch." These include the Alluvion Two-Handed Sword, Coral Aegis Shield, Eye of Storms Amulet, and Stormcarved Testament Relic, according to Sportskeeda.
