There are a variety of available resources in "No Man's Sky" that players can gather and use for different recipes to create many different items.
One of these resources is Nanite Clusters, which are one of the more valuable ones in the game because they are used to upgrade the player's equipment. These resources are also difficult to come by compared to Units, which is "No Man's Sky's" primary currency.
Nanites are the ones that players primarily use in the mid-game and late-game for a variety of upgrades. You can also use these resources to buy blueprints and upgrade modules for your Exosuit, Exocraft, and Starships.
This guide teaches players all they need to know about Nanites, particularly about how to use these resources so they have more than enough to use for their upgrades. The methods listed here are some of the easiest ways you can earn a lot of Nanites quickly.
Curious Deposits
The first method to get a lot of Nanites is by hunting for Curious Deposits, which come in clusters that you can refine into hundreds or sometimes even thousands of Nanites. These can spawn on all types of planets, and planets in the same system are likely to have Curious Deposits, according to The Gamer.
You can also find Curious Deposits using your Analysis Visor to look for a Gold pop-up icon. You use your mining laser, Optical Mining laser, or Plasma Cannon to destroy Curious Deposits. These drop Runaway Mould that you can refine into Nanites.

Explore and Complete Derelict Freighters
Players have a high chance of running into Derelict Freighters while exploring the vastness of the cosmos. It is recommended to explore abandoned freighters and complete them as they yield valuable rewards.
These rewards can include Nanites, which are very useful for every "No Man's Sky" player because of their varied uses, Game Rant said.
Refine Larval Cores
Another method to get Nanites in "No Man's Sky" is by refining Larval Cores. These are dropped when you destroy a Whispering Egg. The latter are rare spawns that appear near abandoned buildings or invested planets.
Upload Discoveries
A good way to get Nanites in "No Man's Sky" as a beginner is by uploading your discoveries. Whenever you press Options to pause your game, you can head to Discoveries and find all the planets that you have found so far.
This includes all of the flora and fauna that you have scanned throughout your adventures in the vastness of space. You can then choose to upload these discoveries to earn some Nanites, according to Push Square.
