The Final Chapter update for open world survival craft game, "Raft," added a ton of new content for players to experience, including the new Trash Cubes that are actually very useful.

Many players might think that these items are like their name suggests, which is trash. However, they have a major benefit to those who know exactly how to make use of them. This guide teaches players the basics of Trash Cubes and how to use them in "Raft."

What are Trash Cubes?

The first thing to know about Trash Cubes in "Raft" is that they are used as a form of currency to purchase a variety of items from the Trading Posts that were added in the Final Chapter update. The items that you can buy include building materials, recipes, and cosmetic items for your raft.

You will also be able to buy more items in Trading Posts when you unlock higher tiers, according to PCGamer.

How Do I Make Trash Cubes?

If you want to make your own Trash Cubes to use for purchasing a variety of items, there are some things you need to keep in mind. The first thing is that these are not actually made from trash found in "Raft."

Trash Cubes can be created using a variety of items that you can loot from the world, but the best things to use are the ones that you have a surplus of. You also need to use a Recycler to make your own Trash Cubes.

How To Make the Recycler

To start making your own Trash Cubes, you first need the Recycler, whose blueprint can be found at the top of the Radio Tower. This is one of the first places that you will be able to get to when progressing through "Raft's" main story, Screen Rant said.

If you have difficulty finding the Radio Tower, you can make a Receiver to make things easier for you. In order to build the Recycler, you need six Plastic, four Metal Ingots, two Bolts, and one Circuit Board.

Other Tips

Once you build the Recycler and have a lot of stuff you can use to make Trash Cubes, you can start building a horde of this new currency. Each item you put in the Recycler has its own value, whereas a higher value means fewer items are needed to make a Trash Cube.

One example is Stone, which requires 50 pieces to make only one Trash Cube. On the other hand, Wool and Titanium Ore are much rarer materials, which makes it so that you need only two each to make one Trash Cube, according to Polygon.
