There are a ton of challenging bosses in Elden Ring that test players' skills and mastery of the game's mechanics.
One of the enemies that you can encounter in the game is Morgott, the Omen King, who is located in the Leyndell, Royal Capital. This area is one of the most impressive locations in Elden RIng's world.
Players will have already encountered Morgott before, in the form of Margit, and he will remove his disguise to face you in battle. This guide helps players learn how to find and defeat this Elden Ring boss.
Preparing for the Fight
Before you head towards the boss' area, you should prepare a few things to make sure that you are ready to take on Morgott. Try to grab as many Golden Seeds and Sacred Tears as you can in Altus Plateau to make your healing Flasks as effective as possible, according to Polygon.
It is also recommended to get the Arsenal Charm +1 from the Altus Tunnel dungeon and the Viridian Amber Medallion +1. They both increase your maximum equip load and maximum stamina, respectively, which are both useful for the Morgott fight.
It is also advisable to get the Dragoncrest Shield Talisman +1 which boosts physical damage negation. This particular item can be found behind a stone sword key fog gate in the Sainted Hero's Grave dungeon.
Where To Find Morgott, the Omen King
After you get everything you need to fight the boss, you need to go to Leyndell, Royal Capital, just before the Erdtree. Exit Godfrey's arena and head left until you see some stairs and a path with scattered corpses of Palm Readers, Dexerto said.
Before reaching Morgott's area, you will arrive at Marika's bed-chamber where a Black Knife Assassin will ambush you. Defeat them and then head towards the Erdtree to find the boss waiting for you.

Fighting the Boss
Morgott has similar mechanics to Margit where he prefers to use heavy delayed attacks to pummel his enemies. The fight has two phases and in the first phase, nearly all of the boss' attacks have a delay.
Be patient, learn the boss' fighting pattern, and figure out when you should dodge to avoid getting hit. You should find an opening after Morgott performs his combos in order to deal damage. Reducing Morgott's health enough will move the fight to the second phase.
Be wary during the transition as the boss will perform a large area-of-effect explosion attack, so stand back until it is finished. His AOE attack seems to drop swords in an X shape, giving you enough space to stand on to avoid getting hit.
Morgott's sword-grab attack can be dodged through, which is highly recommended instead of dodging away as you can still be hit with the follow-through. The second phase gives the boss the ability to coat his weapon with the Bleed status and perform two new attacks.
These are either a quick lunge forward or a regular slash, both of which are rather predictable to help you dodge in time. If you are wounded, be sure to use the Bloodhound's Step Ash of War to gain distance and drink healing Flasks, according to Screen Rant.
Rewards for Beating Morgott
After you defeat Morgott, the Omen King, you will get 120,000 Runes, Morgott's Great Rune, and the Remembrance of the Omen King. These are all very useful and have a variety of uses.
