A new trailer for Revenge of the Savage Planet just dropped and the footage teases the game's release window and showcases some features, such as home decor.
The sequel is bringing fans back to the hostile environment and gives them new tools to take advantage of and new features to experience. Some players described the game as a "comedy-metroidvania-survival-shooter-platformer."
Revenge of the Savage Planet
Developer Raccoon Logic Studios revealed Revenge of the Savage Planet a few months ago but the latest trailer shows players a much closer look at the game's world. It also reveals what has changed from the original.
Journey to the Savage Planet featured cooperative action-adventuring mechanics that will come back to Revenge of the Savage Planet. The sequel also seems to have added some visual flair to make it feel even more alive.
One of the more notable inclusions of the trailer is the Space Trailer, which has an arcade machine, pool table, and many other entertainment items. The sequel also seems like it will feature more equipment compared to its predecessor, according to PCGamer.

Another major change in Revenge of the Savage Planet is that the world count has gone up from one to four. Each of these seems to have a variety of flora and fauna that players can scan and encounter during their playthroughs.
The sequel's official release window is May 2025, which is when you can finally join up with your squad and start blasting away. The Steam page for Revenge of the Savage Planet is already live and you can wishlist it now to be notified when it releases.
Coming Back Bigger and Better
Raccoon Logic Studios CEO Alex Hutchinson said that they are excited to share the release window for Revenge of the Savage Planet. The game sees the return of Kindred Aerospace CEO Martin Tweed as the protagonist, Gematsu said.
He will have to rally his troops and join forces in order to defeat his new nemesis, Gunther Harrison, who is the CEO of Alta Interglobal. That is so far the information about the game's story that has been shared and fans will have to wait to dive into their own adventures.
Revenge of the Savage Planet brings back everything that fans loved from the original game but makes them bigger and better. The original studio was Typhoon Studios, which was negatively affected when Google decided to close down its Stadia Games and Entertainment division.
Some of the developers who were let go got back together and founded Racoon Logic Studios and were able to raise enough funds to buy the rights to their game, according to Engadget.
