5 Coolest New 'World of Warcraft' Mounts in The War Within Expansion

There are a lot of cool new mounts in World of Warcraft that were added in The War Within expansion that players can use in their adventures.

These are only one part of the variety of new content that the expansion brought and is arguably the one that will be most used by players. There are also some upcoming new mounts that will be available in future updates.

We list down some of the coolest-looking mounts in The War Within expansion that players have access to. Read on to see which ones you prefer and learn about how to get them for your own characters.

1. Crimson Mudnose

This particular mount can be purchased from a Renown Quartermaster and requires a little bit of patience to get. You cannot use the Crimson Mudnose mount until you reach Renown 19 with the Assembly of the Deeps.

Working to increase your Renown with this particular faction is primarily done by finishing quests in The Ringing Deeps, particularly World Quests. Some of the latter also reward players with an additional reputation for completing them, according to Screen Rant.

2. Smoldering Cinderbee

The next mount on this list is the Smoldering Cinberbee which is probably safe for your character to ride. Similar to the Crimson Mudnose, this mount can be purchased from a Renown Quartermaster.

This mount can be bought at Renown 23 and is picked up from Auditor Balwurz who is the quartermaster for the Council of Dornogal. The latter ensures players that the Smoldering Cinderbee mount is (mostly) safe to ride.

3. Diamond Mechsuit

While diamonds are considered a girl's best friend, the Diamond Mechsuit mount is a best friend for anyone in World of Warcraft. This mount is a massive and sturdy-looking mount that also has some style.

You can get this particular mount if you completed the Keystone Master achievement in Season 1 of The War Within expansion. Getting the achievement is well worth the effort to show off in front of other players in a diamond robot, The Gamer said.

4. Beledar's Spawn

The War Within's main theme is the invasion of the Void and features Xal'atath, a dangerous and powerful old god. She has brought with her the power of the Void in order to wreak havoc and destroy the world.

You can get the Beleder's Spawn mount that embodies the power of the Void by defeating the respawnable NPC Beledar's Spawn. You can even use this mount while fighting Xal'atath to give her a taste of her own medicine.

5. Alunira

One of the most impressive and coolest-looking mounts in World of Warcraft's The War Within expansion is Alunira. While it only uses the standard Gryphon Skeleton with some new colors, it is still one of the best in the game.

You can get this mount by gathering 10 pieces of Crackling Shard in order to break the shield around the NPC and kill them. The NPC is found flying around the crystal mountain at the western tip of the Isle of Dorn and the mount is a guaranteed drop, according to Dual Shockers.
