Developer Infold Games' upcoming cozy open-world title Infinity Nikki reached more than 30 million pre-registrations ahead of its official launch.
Reaching the milestone means that players will be able to get all of the rewards, including a four-star outfit, 20 Resonite Crystals, 300 Threads of Purity, and 50,000 Blings. The game is set to release on various platforms, including PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices.
Infinity Nikki Reaches 30 Million Pre-Registrations
To commemorate the achievement, the developer shared a new gameplay overview trailer for Infinity Nikki that was titled Unfold Your Whim. The footage apparently offers a glimpse into the journey ahead for the game.
The upcoming cozy open-world game will have players collecting items known as Whimstars and various special outfits to customize their Nikki. The latter also gives players characters unique abilities that can be used.
Infold Games said that each ability will allow your Nikki to do a variety of things, these include exploring deeper, discovering hidden paths, and interacting with the open world. Your character will also be accompanied by Momo, who offers a camera feature to capture memorable moments, according to Eurogamer.

Some people may not find the massive milestone surprising due to more than 12 million players already signing up for Infinity Nikki in August 2024. The game is the follow-up to the highly popular mobile series of dress-up games that have a large fanbase.
Despite the milestone and subsequent trailer, Infold Games has not yet shared an official release date for Infinity Nikki. But right now, fans can just sign up for the game's future playtest.
A Focus on Fashion
Infinity Nikki comes as the fifth entry in the developer's series of fantasy gacha games. It also brings the adventures of the protagonist and Momo into a vast open world. The series was previously only available on mobile devices but will soon reach out to other platforms, PCGamesN said.
The game has the potential for a deep and immersive character customization system. It has a variety of outfits to make your character unique. Some people call it a more laid-back open-world title compared to the likes of miHoYo's Genshin Impact.
Despite the coziness, Infinity Nikki still has a battle mechanic where your Nikki will have to use her abilities to defeat dangerous creatures. The game also features some surprisingly impressive-looking boss fights.
The developer describes the game as letting players harness the power of Whim and use a variety of tools to help their Nikkis overcome challenging trials, according to The Gamer.
