Released on August 8, 2024, Knock on the Coffin Lid is developed and published by RedBoon. It is a deckbuilder card battler RPG where you have to figure out the circumstances of your own death.

Why? You just happen to wake up in a crypt with zero memories of what happened to you. From there, you'll have to journey home and figure out the secrets behind your own death.

Doing that, however, will be easier said than done.

Steam Reviews for 'Knock on the Coffin Lid'

Knock on the Coffin Lid has more than 1,000 user reviews on Steam as of press time. Steam categorizes these reviews as "Very Positive."

"Never thought I'd get into it because I don't like deck-builders, but I'm enjoying the game greatly," user GRom4232 said in a Steam review. "The amount of voiced dialogue is surprising: I imagine that the reason the game is so big is because it keeps throwing new voice lines at me."

"It is insane what an ambitious and meticulously crafted 'rougelike decbuilder' KotCL is," user NocNatural said in a separate review. "From even the first minutes this game just blast you with ridiculous amount of production value starting from the excellent voice acting - beautiful hand drawn art and just the banger of a music - KotCL reels you in and the hours just go by while you are playing."
