Forza Motorsport's Update 13 adds a ton of brand-new content, including a new circuit and new cars. It also introduces a new game mode for free-to-play and private multiplayer lobbies.
Developer Turn 10's latest update for its racing game is somewhat special as it comes with a special backdrop. This is when Forza Motorsport celebrates its first anniversary since it was officially launched.
Forza Motorsport's Update 13
When the game was released a year ago, it started out somewhat troubled. Fortunately, the studio consistently worked to improve Forza Motorsport and made adjustments to various key aspects based on community feedback.
Update 13 is the latest of these and has been dubbed "Mustang Month" to celebrate Ford's iconic muscle car. The latest update is sizable as it requires 9.9GB of space on PC and up to 14.2GB of space on Xbox Series X, according to GTPlanet.
The first thing that will be added with Update 13 is the Sunset Peninsula circuit. This is a fan-favorite circuit that was last seen in Forza Motorsport 4. This is an updated facility that will test your vehicle's pure power and technique on the banked oval and technical infield road courses.

The studio also confirmed that the next track that will be coming to the game is Bathurst. This circuit will be added in the game's Update 15 which will arrive sometime in December. This will mark the final track for this year but there are more planned for next year.
Arguably the most significant addition in Update 13 is the new Drift Mode which will push your control skills to the maximum. This mode features several scoring options, such as your best single lap or just overall score, Xbox Era said.
A Ton of New Content
Furthermore, the game's AI gets some improvements to iron out some of its rough edges. Players will also receive three free Mustangs as part of Turn 10's celebration of Forza Motorsport's first anniversary. They will be available in your showrooms.
The developer is using the game's anniversary as a chance to look towards the future of Forza Motorsport. The studio also released some stats from the year that has already past since its official launch.
The data revealed that Kyalami - Grand Prix Circuit was the most-played track in the game with more than 5.7 million races played. It also showed that the 2020 Honda #73 LA Honda World Racing Civic was the most driven vehicle, according to Game Rant.
