Yesterday we got some news on Destiny's character classes via a few YouTube videos, but apparently Bungie isn't done with dropping big news yet.
Over on the Destiny Twitter, Bungie sent out a cryptic message:
"Next Monday, see what awaits you on your Destiny journey..."
Well, I guess the message itself isn't that cryptic, but it sure is a mystery what they're going to talk about. I have a couple of theories:
1) They're going to announce details on when the beta will begin. This makes sense since Bungie has yet to give any firm details on the beta, but doesn't really make sense as far as "seeing what awaits." Unless, of course, they go all Beyoncé on us and start the beta up right then and there. I'm pretty doubtful about the latter, but the former could still definitely happen.
2) They announce new worlds. Currently on the game's official site there's only Earth, the moon, Venus and Mars covered in detail. Some moons of Jupiter and Saturn were also confirmed for the game, so maybe this new announcement will cover those two planets, or maybe it'll cover some all new areas. This option, while not as exciting as No. 1, probably makes the most sense.
