Baldur's Gate 3 is getting its own miniature collection. This will be part of WizKids' Icons of the Realms lineup.
Wizard of the Coast's upcoming Virtual Tabletop project will feature characters from the popular game. You can then incorporate them into your sessions. But the latest news makes things even simpler to create Baldur's Gate 3-inspired adventures.
Baldur's Gate 3 Miniature Collection
The collection features pre-painted products that are entirely dedicated to Larian Studio's highly popular role-playing game. They provide ways for players to bring the game's takes on a litany of Dungeons & Dragons creatures and species to tabletops.
There are 40 miniatures in the collection that will be available in blind boxes containing four random miniatures each. One of these is a large-scaled mini while the other three will be medium- or small-scaled minis, according to Gizmodo.
It would also include newly sculpted takes on specific characters such as Minthara the Drow Paladin. There are other general archetypes that players can find in the game, such as goblins, bugbears, and even bears.
Fortunately, WizKids is also releasing a separate boxed collection of seven miniatures to recreate Baldur's Gate 3's main party. This is especially good news for people who only want the game's main characters.

The separate collection features Astarion, Karlach, Gale, Shadowheart, Withers, Wyll, and Lae'zel. What is unfortunate is that these particular products will not be coming out until early next year, Polygon said.
Every single miniature also has a remarkable level of detail and is expected to make a great addition to fans' tabletop campaigns. This particular collection costs $49.99. On the other hand, the booster bundles are currently only available to pre-order from WizKids.
Dungeons & Dragons Tabletop Campaigns
Each bundle, which costs $199.92, contains eight individually packaged blind boxes that have a single, randomly selected mini from the new collection.
Previously, WizKids released a lineup with characters from the Descent into Avernus prequel tabletop campaign for Baldur's Gate 3. There was also one themed around the 5e revival of the Planescape campaign setting.
The Icons of the Realms lineup somewhat seems like a continuation of the classic Dungeons & Dragons Miniature Game that ran from 2003 to 2011. It similarly consisted of randomized booster packs of pre-painted minis, according to PCGamer.
Wizards of the Coast seems to be keeping an eye on fans of the Baldur's Gate franchise. It looks to keep them interested in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. This comes as the latest game in the series showed how there is a huge demand for compelling stories in the world of the tabletop game.
