Hi-Fi Rush is developer Tango Gameworks' critically acclaimed rhythm-based action-adventure that showcases its musical prowess.

The game features several bosses across its single-player campaign that will test players' abilities to follow the rhythm. In Track 2, players will find one of the game's main antagonists, Rekka, the one in charge of production at Vandelay Technologies.

Rekka has a lot of deadly attacks and players will have to be patient in order to deal enough damage to beat them. What makes this fight worse is that this foe is very aggressive and will not give players many opportunities to take control of the pace.

This boss guide will help players know how to reliably defeat Rekka with some tips and tricks. These will also help you understand the boss' attack patterns and how to avoid them to keep yourself healthy.

Stage One

In the first stage of the fight, Rekka has a few different attacks that you need to watch out for. These include dash attacks that can knock you over if you don't dodge them, according to Eurogamer.

You can anticipate the timing of this attack as it will happen when Rekka stops walking and turns to you. You will have to watch the ground beneath them for signs of a small area that becomes highlighted. This is the signal that she will perform their dash attack.

Rekka also has a ground-pound attack that begins when the boss launches themselves into the air. You can avoid this attack by immediately moving away from where you were standing when the boss' attack animation started.

Stage Two

The second part of this boss fight begins after you deal enough damage to take the first chunk of Rekka's health. This is where they will become infused with electricity to make the battle more exciting.

When you see the boss being electrically charged, avoid attacking and simply dodge around the edge of the area. After Rekka stops moving, keep an eye out for the control prompt above to make Chai latch onto one of the magnets on the ceiling.

Failure to do this will result in you getting hit by a wave of electricity that Rekka will send out across the entire floor. When the electricity finally dissipates, the boss will be temporarily vulnerable to attacks.

After the boss recovers, they will gain a shield that Chai cannot break himself but Peppermint can. You have to dodge Rekka's attacks while getting Peppermint to hit the shield twice to break it.

Stage Three

In the third part of the fight, Rekka will lose what little patience she has left and will rip pipes off the wall. This portion of the fight forces players to continuously dodge in the beginning either left or right.

There will be red danger lines that tell you in advance where Rekka will throw the pipes. After this initial scuffle, the boss will directly attack you again and she will still have electricity-based attacks, DualShockers said.

Another new attack in this stage is Rekka growing orange arms on top of their regular arms. This suggests that she will try to grab you and force you into a body hold and pile driver. You need to avoid it as it will deal significant damage to you if you are caught.

Stage Four

The final stage of the Rekka boss fight starts when they drop down to a quarter of their maximum health. This portion will once again start with the boss grabbing pipes from the walls and using them against you.

Rekka will then start chagrin up and you should try to interrupt them by dealing as much damage as you can. The boss gains a new attack where they will smash into the ground which is relatively easy to avoid, according to Sportskeeda.

When you bring the boss' health down to zero, she will be stunned and you only need to deal the finishing blow to end the battle once and for all.
