Released on July 2, 2021, Fears to Fathom - Home Alone is developed and published by Rayll. As previously mentioned, t is the first episode of Fears to Fathom, an episodic psychological horror game.

Unlike the succeeding episodes of the game, Home Alone is free-to-play and focuses on the character of Miles, a 14-year-old boy who was left home alone by his parents. However, the night goes horribly wrong for Miles, and you'll have to journey along with him to survival.

'Fears of Fathom'

Each episode of Fears of Fathom is narrated by the ones who survived their ordeal. Whether Miles is the one narrating his story is up for you to find out.

Including Home Alone, Fears of Fathom has a total of five episodes as of press time. The other episodes are as follows:

  • Woodbury Getaway

Steam Reviews for 'Fears to Fathom - Home Alone'

Fears to Fathom - Home Alone has more than 6,000 user reviews on Steam as of press time. These reviews are generally described by Steam as "Very Positive." 

"Holy crap, this game is intense," user SIMON-_Riley said in a Steam review. "I thought I was prepared for horror, but this is next level."

"The atmosphere is creepy, the puzzles are challenging, and the jump scares are brutal," SIMON-_Riley added. "I'm already hooked, but I'm also terrified to continue."

"This won't take up to much of your time, it's free, and it sets a benchmark for the rest of the series to improve upon," user The Great Linguini said in a separate review. "This is a short experience depending on how you handle events, so I recommend just going in with knowing as little as possible and just feeling it out yourself." 

"All in all, this is a great start to the series, and I recommend trying this one out," The Great Linguini concluded.
