Released on October 10, 2018, Mark of the Ninja: Remastered is developed and published by Klei Entertainment. It is the remastered version of the original Xbox 360 game, which was released on September 7, 2012.
This action platformer game lets you take on the role of a ninja, who has to rely on stealth to beat opponents and complete objectives. Despite the game being about ninjas, it is actually set in the modern day and revolves around the conflict between the traditional ways of the ninja and modern technology.

What is Different?
Its Steam page notes that the in-game art was drawn at a high resolution, but was compressed to 720p for the original game. In the remaster, in-game art now comes in high definition. All scenes of the game, on the other hand, have been exported to 4K resolution.
The remaster likewise comes with special edition content that adds Dosan's tale to the game.

Steam Reviews for Mark of the Ninja: Remastered
Mark of the Ninja: Remastered has more than 5,000 user reviews on Steam as of press time. These reviews are generally described by Steam as "Overwhelmingly Positive."
"Stealth has never felt as smooth and satisfying as it does here," user Trexem said in a Steam review. "This game masterfully combines fluid controls with smart level design, allowing you to move like a shadow, striking fear into your enemies."
"The hand-drawn visuals are a treat, enhancing the atmospheric tension and adding personality to every corner," Trexem added.
"I started playing the original title back in 2013, and for whatever reason stopped playing after a few hours," user faustulus97 said in a separate review. "Now that I picked up the remastered version, and gave the game another try, I must admit to enjoying it thoroughly."
