As of press time, Spectre Divide has more than 5,000 user reviews on Steam. These reviews are generally described by Steam as "Mixed."

"Incredible generic, bland and soulless," user Mosles criticized in a Steam review. "There's literally nothing special in this game that will stand out in comparison to other competitors, and definitely not the 'duality' feature that other games already provide a similar experience."

"I genuinely enjoyed playing this game and am surprised by the negative feedback it's received," user DarkPrimE said in a separate review. "While it shares some similarities with Valorant, it also brings its unique features, setting it apart in a meaningful way."
