Good news for Capcom fans eagerly awaiting the arrival of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2. These two upcoming games will be available for the Xbox One sometime next year.
The latest development is a result of "technical discussions" Capcom has had with Xbox, according to a report.
"We're excited to announce that after technical discussions with our partners at Microsoft, we can confirm that Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will release on Xbox One," Capcom announced.
While there is no specific release date on Xbox for either game, it is believed that both will be released within next year.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics was first announced back in June. The following older-gen games will be included in this compilation:
- Marvel Super Heroes
- Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
- Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes
- Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
- The Punisher
- X-Men: Children of the Atom
- X-Men vs. Street Fighter
The fighting game compilation will be released on September 12 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2
As for Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the official announcement of the game was made last month. It is likewise a fighting game collection, which will include the following titles:

- Capcom vs. SNK 2
- Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein
- Power Stone
- Power Stone 2

No specific release date has been provided for the collection as of press time, but will likewise be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows, alongside the Xbox One.
