Techno Banter, an upcoming game that lets a player become the bouncer to a techno club, has an official release date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The upcoming title is a choices-based game where players will navigate a dystopian city filled with freaks and underground rave clubs. For now, players should note that Techno Banter is coming out sometime in Q4 2024.
Techno Banter Release Window
The release window for Techno Banter came alongside a new trailer that showed off some gameplay footage of how you have to choose which characters can go inside the club. The game was developed by Dexai Arts and published by Crunching Koalas.
The two studios' new project is a witty, raw tale of a club bouncer who will face the entry queue of various characters who are waiting in line at the Green Door Club. Players will be in charge of deciding who gets to come in and who will have to be rejected, according to GoNintendo.

More often than not, the characters who are denied entry into the club will object to the decision, and that's where the game's "Banter" kicks in. This is where players will have to choose the wittiest and most clever insults and clapbacks to chase the customers away.
Techno Banter's soundscape and its raw, gritty art style are heavily influenced by the Berlin techno scene. This can most notably be felt in the neon-drenched design of various in-game locations, such as Rainbow Drive or the Green Door Club.
A Choice-Based Game
In the game's official overview, the creators said that in Techno Banter, every single one of players' decisions matters. The character that players take control of in the game is known as Nil, who was a once-rising star turned bouncer, said Gematsu.
In Techno Banter, every new night brings a new set of challenges and players will be faced with a parade of quirky, eccentric characters that each have their own backstory, style, and attitude. You will be able to explore the pulsating, vibrant world of Rainbow Drive, which is a district that thrives under the glow of neon and the thump of heavy basslines.
Developer Dexai Arts pulled out all the stops for Techno Banter, even bringing many local DJs on board to spin tracks inside the game's main club Green Door. The game has already gained some attention and won the GameStar.de "Find Your Next Game" Indie award, according to NintendoEverything.
