Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is the latest entry in Bandai Namco's highly popular arcade game and it is coming to PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox on Nov. 7, 2024.
The arrival of the rhythm game on modern consoles follows an extended period of Nintendo Switch exclusivity. This particular version of the game will be able to support 120fps on Sony's system, but this is assuming you have a compatible television to go with it.

It was also said that there would be "platform exclusive collaboration songs," but there is still so far no confirmation on what those would include. Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival features more than 70 songs across a variety of genres, including pop, anime, and others.
Players will also be able to upgrade the selection of music to more than 700 songs if they choose to subscribe to the Taiko Music Pass. Furthermore, if you pre-order the game now, you will get five extra songs from Bandai Namco's history, according to PushSquare.

On top of these bonuses, the digital exclusive Setlist Edition will also include three additional song packs. These feature the Anime Songs Collection, the Pop Collection, and the Vocaloid Songs Collection. All of these come together to add another 32 songs to the rhythm-based game.
But so far, there is still no confirmation of whether or not there is a physical version of the series' highly popular drum peripheral that will become available alongside the launch of the game on modern consoles.

Other information includes the price that Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will retail at, which is $49.99 for the standard edition. On the other hand, the Setlist Edition will be for sale for $79.99 for its addition of other songs, said Gematsu.
Based on accessory manufacturer HORI, there will be a dedicated controller for the game and it will be available in two SKUs. One would be compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, while the other would be compatible with Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will have three types of party games available for two to four players; Great Drum Toy War, Don-chan Band, and Run! Ninja Dojo. It will also feature online matches, including Online Ranked Match and Room Match, according to NicheGamer.
The original game launched on Sept. 22, 2022, in Japan and on Sept. 23, 2022, across the rest of the world.
