Dragon Age: The Veilguard Combat Preview Arrives Ahead of the Game's Official Release

The official release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard is still two months away, but fans now have a 10-minute preview of what they can expect from the game.

Developer BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts (EA) have released a combat preview ahead of the game's official release. The preview gives fans a glimpse of the Warrior class, among other interesting tidbits.

As a report from Kotaku notes, the clip previews how to prepare your version of protagonist Rook, as well as the party selection process. There is also an encounter featured in the preview, which shows Darkspawn enemies.

The Warrior class, as previously mentioned, gets the spotlight in this preview. It likewise shows of companion commands and party synergy.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is an action role-playing game (RPG) developed by BioWare and published by EA. It is the sequel to Dragon Age: Inquisition, which was released in 2014. The game is the fourth main installment in the Dragon Age franchise. 

The game is set in the fictional world of Thedas, which is now threatened by two corrupt ancient gods who are sent to ruin the world. The player will take on the role of Rook, whose goal is to stop these gods from destroying Thedas. 

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is scheduled for release on October 31, 2024. It will be made available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows.
