We've now officially been in the "next gen" of video games for almost half a year. We've seen some real achievements in both graphics and gameplay thus far (NBA 2K14 and Titanfall, for example), but there might not be a game that has shown just what these new systems can do like inFamous: Second Son, especially with the addition of Photo Mode.
Kotaku went around the internet looking for the best Second Son photos, and man, they're gorgeous. I think we all knew that inFamous was going to look good, but the photo mode has given people the opportunity to check things out up close and personal, rather than just from the third person perspective.
What we find when we can check this stuff out up close is that it looks... well, real. I can still tell that that chain from NeoGAF user R8TEDM3's picture is computer generated, but man, the line is getting really thin between PS4 and reality, and we're only in the very beginning of what will probably be a 10-year lifecycle of these new consoles.
