Electronic Arts confirmed the official release date and various other features for its upcoming EA Sports FC 25 game.
The upcoming sports game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch when it launches on Sept. 27, 2024. People who pre-order the game's Ultimate Edition will be able to play a week of early access ahead of other players.

Additionally, EA Play members will also be able to get a 10-hour early access trial starting on Sept. 20, 2024. Another thing that the studio revealed is that Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham was chosen to be the cover athlete for this year's standard edition of EA Sports FC 25.
On the other hand, the game's Ultimate Edition will have a cover that also features Barcelona's Aitana Bonmati, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Gianluigi Buffon.
The Developer also announced that there will be several new modes introduced in the latest entry to the franchise, according to the Video Games Chronicle.
These would include Rush, where the game pits two teams of five players each competing against one another. This new mode will be the replacement for the previous Volta and will be featured across Kick-Off, Ultimate Team, and Clubs.
The developer has made changes to the game's Ultimate Team, with the inclusion of a duplicate storage solution for duplicate items. Electronic Arts also added more Evolution items, which can now be customized as well.

Another new thing that is introduced in EA Sports FC 25 is Live Start Points which will be seen in the game's career mode. These points will allow players to play through a season mode starting on the week of their choosing.
Bellingham being featured as the cover for the game's standard edition makes him the youngest player to make global cover for the franchise. On top of this, the Real Madrid and England star will also be the cover athlete for EA FC 25 Mobile, said ESPN.
Standard Edition Cover
The particular pose that EA Sports FC 25 uses for Bellingham's cover was the iconic image of the athlete at the Bernabeu in Real Madrid kit. It shows off his renowned celebration which has been nicknamed "Belligol."
The 21-year-old star athlete's accomplishments include winning the Champions League, LaLiga, and LaLiga Player of the Season with Real Madrid last season. He has also made it to the final of the European Championship in Germany with England.
Bellingham said that he played the franchise with his brother when he was younger and was excited about the prospect of one day being the cover athlete. On top of the cover and features that will be in EA Sports FC 25, the studio also revealed some of the graphic options that will be available.
A number of these have never been seen in the series before or even in its predecessor, the FIFA franchise. The most significant part is the addition of ray tracing for the first time in the history of either game, according to IGN.
