Unlocking the Wish Machine
The Finals players can encounter the Wish Machine during the main questline in the Greywater Camp of the Iron River area. This device offers essential items such as gear pieces, blueprints, and cosmetic items through random draws.
To utilize the Wish Machine, players must interact with it during gameplay. They can opt to move it to their base or craft one using required resources, once they've unlocked the schematic in the Memetics menu.
Crafting and Using the Wish Machine
Once installed in your base, the Wish Machine allows you to spend Starchrom on draws. You can choose between a single draw or ten draws at once, depending on your current resources.
To accumulate Starchrom, players can complete tasks, participate in events, and engage in log-in activities within the game. This currency is crucial for maximizing your chances of obtaining coveted items from the Wish Machine.
When using the Wish Machine, players engage in a mini-game involving whacking a llama with a mallet, although the outcome of the game does not affect the final reward. Alternatively, players can skip this process entirely by selecting the Skip Cutscene button.
After completing the draw, players receive a reward from the machine, which could range from blueprints to gear or cosmetic items. Each item drawn is removed from the pool, ensuring that subsequent draws yield new and potentially different rewards.
