Light No Fire was first announced during the 2023 Game Awards and is set on a fantasy planet that is the size of Earth. It is said to combine the depth of a role-playing game with the freedom of a survival sandbox.

But for now, there is still a lot about the upcoming game that players don't know, including its release window and platforms. However, fans are now hoping that Murray's recent activity on social media could point to some new reveal about the title, according to GamesRadar.

In the last three days, the Hello Games co-founder has posted an increasing number of planet Earth emojis but has not provided any further explanations. Many players quickly drew comparisons with his social media activity with Light No Fire as the game focuses on comparing its world to Earth.

Regardless of the speculations, Murray has since doubled down and posted more Earth emojis in recent days. Then, he also posted a cute text face that had an Earth for each eye and was gesturing towards a third one.

Some fans are already drunk with excitement and are eagerly hoping that Light No Fire will get a new update. Another user said that with the amount of teasing that Murray has been doing, it seems like it is not a simple No Man's Sky update.

Murray has frequently issued cryptic teases for new updates for No Man's Sky, which set a precedent for followers to speculate with the latest series of tweets. The rumors are circulating around the No Man's Sky subreddit where players share their theories of what could come next, said Kotaku.

Information on Light No Fire

Some people are wondering whether No Man's Sky will finally get rotating planets or other orbital mechanics to spice up the gameplay experience. Others are also thinking that the tease could be additional planets with new procedural generation tech that is not yet seen anywhere in the game.

On the other end of the spectrum, there are people who are saying that the teases are a premonition of the end of the world in the game. This is that there will be a universal reset that will have all player creation getting wiped and every player starting off in a completely new reality.

While the prospect may sound exciting, it is also somewhat of a big disruption to a longtime playerbase that has spent a lot of time min-maxing their games. The overhaul of planetary environments and exploration in No Man's Sky is something that many players have been asking for years.

However, the possibility that Murray's tweets could be referring to Light No Fire instead of No Man's Sky is seen as an interesting notion. But if it does become new information about the upcoming game, players of No Man's Sky could be left disappointed, according to GameRant.
